The establishment of the Directorate of Veteran Affairs that is currently under the Ministry of Defence will solve a number of challenges of the former fighters than before, the Defence State Minister in Charge of Veteran Affairs, Hon. Christopher Kibanzanga has said.
In an interview with Kasese guide radio at his country home in Nyamirangara in Kasese Municipality yesterday, Hon. Kibanzanga said that the Directorate of Veteran Affairs that includes among others world war fighters is wide and transferring it from the office of Prime Minister to Defence was done by President Museveni for close attention to the former fighters whose contributions needed to be looked into closely.
