    Hon. Christopher Kibanzanga over Veteran Affairs.

    The establishment of the Directorate of Veteran Affairs that is currently under the Ministry of Defence will solve a number of challenges of the former fighters than before, the Defence State Minister in Charge of Veteran Affairs, Hon. Christopher Kibanzanga has said.

    In an interview with Kasese guide radio at his country home in Nyamirangara in Kasese Municipality yesterday, Hon. Kibanzanga said that the Directorate of Veteran Affairs that includes among others world war fighters is wide and transferring it from the office of Prime Minister to Defence was done by President Museveni for close attention to the former fighters whose contributions needed to be looked into closely.     The Bughendera MP who said he had closely monitored and understood the groupings in the Rwenzori region said that the suspected militias group in Bundibugyo was beyond the region and could be compared to what is happening in Zombo district and beyond.

    He warned some individuals against pointing fingers and shifting blame on matters of security but rather give opportunity to government security agencies to investigate and make thorough analysis of what is happening for the good of Uganda. Hon. Kibanzanga speaking……

    He had earlier asked the youth to use the available government programs and other related avenues to engage in productive activities for improved living conditions. END
