Former Kasese Municipality Member of Parliament, Hon. Centenary Robert asks President Yoweri Museveni Tibuhaburwa Kaguta to reconsider his position on commodity prices which he said can only be checked by subsidizing fuel prices to stimulate economic growth.
In an interview with Kasese Guide Radio at his residential home in Kasese Municipality yesterday, Hon. Centenary described it as empty planning for fuel prices to keep up and paralyze the purchasing power that government depends on for taxes.

Mr. Centenary later asked Ugandans to continue reminding government of their role to enable her citizen access basic needs.
In his state of the nation’s address last week, President Museveni asked Ugandans to differentiate between high prices and scarcity of commodities, arguing Ugandans to be economical to catch up with the current hard situation. END.
