The former Member of Parliament for Kasese Municipality, Hon. Robert Centenary has called for urgent interventions by Government into what he called the biting economic crisis in Uganda.
The former Legislator was concerned that individual income levels were low at a time commodity prices were high, making the living conditions so hard.
Speaking to Kasese Guide radio in Kasese last evening, Hon. Centenary who described the situation as hard now that taxes, essential commodity and fuel prices were high, was concerned that the situation was affecting the purchasing base thus, calling for urgent government interventions. He however called for hard work and consciousness into individual expenditures among community members during the Xmas festivities if they were to survive this hard economic situation. END
