    Hon. Annet Mutswanga has called for plans to support flood victims.

    The Kasese district woman councilor representing Kyalhumba town council, Kyalhumba, Mahango and Kitabu sub counties Hon. Annet Mutswanga has called for plans to support with relief food to flood victims whose crops were destroyed too by in River Nyamugasana Valley.

    Speaking to Kasese guide radio Hon. Mutswanga who said that some of her electorates had lost beans, maize ,coffee and bananas among others had been forgotten from food given in by Good Samaritans yet they were also in need. Hon. Mutswanga speaking………….

    The Chairperson LC one for Kyalhumba central cell in Kyalhumba town council, Ms Zonet Mbambu described as paramount for officials heading relief distribution to collaborate with local leaders for proper identification of the affected people in need of support before calling for plans to plant enough trees and reads in the river valleys to tame floods. Ms Zonet speaking……

    The Chairperson LC 3 for Kyalhumba town council and Kyalumba sub country, Mr. Ivan Kabutirwa who said over one thousand people were still in camps in areas of jurisdiction revealed that they were sorting out the victims to ascertain those they would advise to get leave the camps.
