Church leaders and Christians in Kasese District have been asked to jointly support the translation process of the Holy Bible from Kinandi to Lhukonzo, the bible society of Uganda branch administration for Rwenzori sub region Ms. Suzan Kabakozere has said.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio in an interview shortly after one day training of Bible translation organized by the Bible Society of Uganda, the Rwenzori Branch Administrator, Ms. Susan Kabakozere said the training in mainly aiming at sensitizing church leaders and enlightening them on the advantage of translating the Bible in the Lhukonzo Language after identifying some poor authentic translation in Kinandi written bibles.
She added that the Bible society of Uganda will fully suppose the translation of the Bible, the process that is likely to take over ten years. Ms. Suzan speaking …….

Christian denominations in Bundibugyo district to be remembered also for proper implementation of this very important exercise. On a special note, I and my organisation (Rwenzori Integrated Youth Organisation – RIYO) to be paved way to participate in the exercise. It is currently participating in the translation of the RR prayer book into Lhukonzo.
