A 40-year-old man is alleged to have been attacked and killed by a Hippopotamus last night at Hamukungu fishing landing site in Lake-Katwe sub-county, Kasese district.
No official comment yet from Police or UWA but the area local council three chairperson, Mr. Wilson Asiimwe has identified the deceased as late Shafi Mubarak, a resident in the same area.
Mr. Wilson told Kasese Guide Radio on phone this morning that late Mubarak is suspected to have been killed at 09.00pm as he retired home from his daily duties at the lake shores. Mr. Wilson speaking…
