Christians of Hima catholic parish in the Diocese of Kasese are mourning one of their historical catechists, the Late Selevest Kule Owerangi, with a call on mourners to appreciates that death exists and also emulate the deceased`s approaches to issues, including love and hard work among others.
The Hima parish priest, Fr. Peter Kunama Masereka, described the late Owerangi, the former Rugendabara sub parish Catechist, as a developmental, hardworking and a unifying man who loved his God and worked hard for reconciliation and peace for many.

The Chairperson LC 3 Elect for Hima town council, Ms Hilda Maate Wabukombi described the deceased as a down to earth man and with exceptional behavior.

Earlier during the requiem mass, Fr. Kunama was assisted by Rev Fr. Charles Kagheni, Fr. Byaruhanga Augustine and Rev Fr. Cleus Muhindo.
