The International Crimes Division of the High court in Kampala has set 26th August as the day for hearing charges against Rwenzururu King His majesty Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma and 201 other Co-accused suspects.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio while still in Kampala this evening. the Rwenzururu Premier, Rt. Hon. Joseph Kule Muranga confirmed the development and said the state Prosecution told Court that they were ready with seventy one state Witnesses to Pin the Rwenzururu King and his other co-accused suspects over the 2016 attacks.
Rt. Hon. Muranga also reported that the prosecution could have decided to move ahead with the case following the statements recently made by two Opposition legislators from Kasese district who accused state for delayed justice to the King without putting in consideration the contributions of the dialogue committee.
