Close to two hundred farmers in Kibirizi village Bugoye Subcuounty in Kasese district had their crops destroyed by heavy stormy rains, leaving the local residents in fear of possible hunger.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio on phone the chairperson Local council one for Kibirizi village Mr. Alfred Munaba confirmed this information saying that the yesterday`s rain which started at night up to midday has frustrated the efforts of the farmers who had grown Beans, Groundnuts, Maize, banana plantation and cassava among others.

He asked for effort from the central government and other people with good heart to support the affected farmers who also need their road worked on. END
