    Heavy rains destroyed over 10 houses in Muhokyo S/C.

    Reports reaching this Radio indicate that over ten houses were reportedly destroyed yesterday morning of (26th August 2020) by heavy rain pour at Kahendero fishing landing site in Muhokya Sub County, Kasese district.

    The Chairperson LC 3 Muhokya sub county, Mr. Ernest Masereka Kasoke confirmed the information saying most of the affected families had sleepless night after losing their properties.

    Mr. Kasoke used the same platform advising parents to stay near their homes and plant acacia trees along in their homes.

    However, the councilor representing Nyakabingo parish in Nyakabingo Sub County, Kasese district, Hon. Girison Musondibwa reported destruction of crops and houses this morning following a heavy rain that started at 11.00am.
