    Health workers form Sacco in Kasese district

    Health workers in Kasese district yesterday launched a savings and credit cooperative Sacco, with a call on them to financially empower themselves.

    While addressing health workers in Verina gardens yesterday, the district senior health educator, Ms. Agnes Mbambu said the Sacco will relieve them from borrowing money from lenders that seem to be expensive.

    Ms. Agnes urged the Sacco leadership to be transparent and deliver up to the members expectations. Ms Agnes speaking….

    Mr. Uriah Mugisa, the chairperson elect in a separate interview asked Government to invest funds into the sacco.Mr.Uriah one speaking…

    He called for collaborated effort to ensure that health workers are curtailed from mortgaging their properties in favor of loans.

    Mr. Milton Kakende, the district senior accountant who represented the chief finance officer Kasese district, Ms. Margret Muhindo called for transparency among the Sacco leadership. END.
