Emmanuel Ainebyoona, the Ministry of Health Senior Public relations Officer, has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a tweet to his followers, Ainebyoona confirmed his positive status noting that he had been admitted at Mulago National Referral hospital and was responding well to treatment.
Mr. Anebyoona who commended the medics for a great job done so far asked the members of the public to continue following the preventive guidelines against the spread of COVID-19.
In an interview with a daily yesterday, Mr. Ainebyoona noted that he was feeling a fever and a dry cough, the reason he decided to go to the hospital for a COVID-19 test that was confirmed positive.
He also noted that the Ministry of health was tracing his contacts. END
