The Kasese District Education Officer, Mr. Earnest Bwambale Thabugha has urged school head teachers to adhere to the Ministry of Education and Sports guidelines and policies if they were to manage schools with minimum difficulties.
Addressing education stakeholders at In Grand Mother’s Arms Nursery and primary school in Kasese Municipality during the function to celebrate the promotion of top nursery pupils to the primary section over the weekend, Mr. Thabugha said the ministry of education had set policies and guidelines for minimum standards to enhance the learning process.
He also asked schools to embrace the teaching of Kiswahili language that Kasese district was to pilot majorly to ease communication for improved trade relations among the East African member states.
