Dr. Crispus Kiyonga, a celebrated farmer and exporter from Kasese district, has called for what he described as practical parenting that would see children guided on income generating projects to back their family finances.
Addressing the youth at the closure of their four day conference at Nyakahya primary school on Sunday, Dr. Kiyonga who called for emphasis for children to complete school, asked parents to rate chicken and goats under the full care of their sons and daughters as a way of guiding the young people about the importance of promoting income sources.
