Teachers of Green Villi Preparatory school in Kisagazi cell in Kasese Municipality reportedly camped at the office of the Kasese Resident District Commissioner over failure by their school administration to pay their salary arrears worth about three million shillings.
Mr. Kato Bukundika, Ms Aidah Kahindo and Ms. Marion Muhindo among other teachers, some of whom traveled from their villages for payments, told Kasese Guide Radio that whereas the school had cleared nearly a half of the bill after calling in the intervention of the labor officer, the administrators of the school sent their representative to deliver bad news that they were unable to clear today as earlier promised, leaving them with no option but to seek for the attention of the RDC.
