Kasese Resident District Commissioner Lt.Joe Walunsimbi has today launched the opening of a 21.3 Kilometer Road barrier-Mahango-Muhokya road in Kasese District.
Presiding over launch held at Bukumbia trading center in Nyakabingo Sub-County, Walunsimbi said the road will be done into two phases after the district secured an emergency road grant worth One Billion Shillings from Government.
Eng. Ronald Katswamba, the district senior engineer, said Four hundred million shillings has been released for the first phase that include, opening, widening and installation of culverts.
