Government is to release eight hundred million shillings next week for the establishment of Katholhu Mini-Irrigation scheme in Nyakiyumbu Sub-County in Kasese district, Mr. Erifaz Muhindi, the Kasese district local council five chairperson has said.
Mr. Muhindi who said technocrats were already in Kasese over the project, said part of the money would also be spent on sealing disaster prone areas of Mubuku River banks to minimize disasters long the river.
