    Gov’t pledges to improve on infrastructure in Rwenzori Region

    Government of Uganda through the Ministry of tourism, wildlife and Antiquities has pledged its commitment towards improving infrastructure in Rwenzori Region in abide to promote tourism in the area.

    While officiating at the tourism, trade and investment summit under the theme ‘’Accelerating sustainable tourism investment in a competitive and globalized market by enhancing destination Kasese with a memorable Rwenzori experience’’ held yesterday at Rwenzori International Hotel, the State minister for national guidance, Hon. Godfrey Baluku Kabbyanga said the government will continue constructing roads, upgrading the Kasese airfield, rehabilitating a modern railway line to enable movement of tourists into the region.Hon.
