Hon. Jetres Ithungu, the District woman councilor representing Bwera and Nyakiyumbu sub-counties has asked central government to construct wider and concrete bridges aimed to minimize accidents.
Her comments follows a fatal accident on Monday at River Bukangara Bridge in Kyabisoro one Village in Nyakiyumbu sub-county, where four people lost their lives.
Hon. Jetres expressed concern about the state of roads and bridges in her area that require urgent intervention from government.
