The youth in Bundibugyo district have asked government to construct more technical and vocational institutions in the area to enhance their livelihoods.
The youth who spoke to the press said that in order to address the increasing levels of unemployment, vocational training must be prioritized much more in rural areas.
Hakitengya Community Polytechnic College is the only established government vocational school and the remaining tertiary institution of learning in Bundibugyo following the phasing out of teacher training colleges.
