Mr. James Katalikawa, the Local council three chairperson for Bugoye Sub County in Kasese district has revealed that most government aided primary schools in his area lack Pit-Latrines to accommodate the increasing number of learners.
His concern was raised to the Member of Parliament for Busongora County North Hon.Sowedi Kitanywa during a stakeholders meeting held yesterday, at St.Peters COU Bugoye.
Katalikawa emphasized that Primary schools head teachers were grappling with inadequate pit-latrines, which he said causes health risk to pupils of contracting various diseases. Mr. Katalikawa speaking…
He asked the Legislator together with the District Education Department to lobby funds for the construction of Pit-Latrines in the affected Primary schools or else the situation may fail Government program of UPE in Bugoye sub-county.
