The Government is implementing a one year national Hepatitis B program as part of service provider guidelines for frontline health workers in Uganda.
The project titled ’accelerating Hepatitis B services’ will provide capacity building trainings to health workers in Kasese district.
Mr. Kenneth Kabagambe, the National Coordinator for people living with Hepatitis B asked Kasese District leaders to impress the program.
Addressing stakeholders at the district health board room yesterday, Mr. Kabagambe said statistics from the Ministry of Health indicated that Kasese was ranking in Hepatitis B in Western Uganda.
