The government of Uganda has recognized the Rwenzururu King, His Majesty Charles Wisley Mumbere Iremangoma for his exceptional contribution towards embracing peaceful resolution to conflicts in his Kingdom.

Addressing a press conference at the Kingdom Prime Minister’s Office in Kasese today, the Deputy Premier, Rt. Hon. Benson Baritazale Kule said the award dated January 17th 2025 and signed by the Gender, labor and Social Development Minster, Hon. Betty Amongi Ongom, recognizes the king’s efforts in promoting Peace, unity, reconciliation, mindset change and economic transformation among his subjects, notably during his tours and festivity messages last year under the Kingdom rebranding plans.
