Go to your homes, IDPs in Kasese asked

Mr. Joseph Isingoma, the Kasese District senior planner has reaffirmed the district plans to dissolve the temporary internally displaced people’s camps in the district for the safety of the occupants.

In a statement to Kasese Guide Radio at his office at the district headquarters in Rukoki yesterday, Mr. Isingoma said owing to the camp challenges, ranging from limited relief aid and congestion that can result into health gaps, the IDP are advised to either go back home or stay with their relatives in more safer areas. He also confirmed that plans to permanently settle the traditional IDP camp in Muhokya town council, were being finalized by government. END
