Believers in Christ have been asked against giving more attention to the earthly demands than serving their souls in preparation for eternity.
In his homily while presiding over a requiem in Kizungu cell for the Late Jeneva Muhindo, a Church Choir member at Holy Trinity Kisanga Catholic Church in Kasese Municipality, Rev. Fr. Joseph Mbusa described as no big deal for a Christian to please his body than feeding his soul and heart that will help him come closer to God for eternity.
Fr. Mbusa who is also the education Secretary for the Diocese of Kasese, asked believers in Christ to seek for the will of God while strong, a move he said will prepare their destiny after death.
Fr. Mbusa speaking……..
In his speech, chairperson for Mawa Market vendors, Mr. Richard Kimize urged his electorates to respect the Holy days of worshiping, describing the deceased as a hardworking and God fearing woman who couldn’t compromise mainly Sunday and festival prayers for business.
Later after holy Mass, the Kizungu cell local council one chairperson, Mr. Fanahasi Wakibanahi announced that the body of the late JenevaMihindo would be buried today in Katooke village in Bugoye subcounty and not in Kasokero in Kyondo Sub County as some family members had insisted.
May the soul of the deceased rest in peace. END
