The Chief magistrate’s court at Kasese has today(30th.May.2022) sent back on remand, Mr. Geoffrey Bwambale Kikama, the GISO for Rukoki Sub County in Kasese district until 3rd, August, 2022 for a Mention of his case.
Presiding over court, the Chief magistrate, His Worship James Opio adjourned hearing of the matter since his court does not have the jurisdiction to handle such a matter of capital nature.
Court heard that on 19th February, 2020 while in Rukoki Sub County, Mr. Geoffrey allegedly killed his brother, the late Augustine Kikama Masereka and his body reportedly dumped in Kigoro river.
The Deputy Resident state for Kasese, Mr. Basomi Wamudaki said he was hopeful that by the time Mr. Geoffrey appears for mention in August, the investigations to commit him to High Court will be complete. Mr. Basomi speaking………
