Rev. Bernard Kenda, the archdeacon of Kitagata Church of Uganda in West Ankole Diocese has cautioned school going girls to desist from early marriages and unions that may spoil them but rather focus to strive.
The advice was made yesterday during a sermon at Ryeru School in Rubirizi district at the function of celebrating UCE results for the year 2023, welcoming senior one and five students.
The servant of God noted that early marriages compromises a child’s development and strictly limits their opportunities in life adding that they also affect the future generation thus calling on learners to stay focused until they achieve their goals. Rev. Kenda speaking……

Ryeru School had 99 students who sat for UCE exams of whom 37 passed in division one and the rest passed in division two and three. END
