Girls performed better than boys in Kasese Municipality in the 2022 Primary Living Examinations, Mr. Seth Ahebwa, the Kasese Municipal Principal Education officer has said.
Addressing the press in his office yesterday, Mr. Ahebwa the principal education officer for Kasese municipality noted that of the 3,011 pupils who registered for primary leaving examinations, 447 girls compared to 441 boys passed in Division one and 965 girls in Division two compared to 722 boys in the same grade.
He also said 153 girls compared to 126 boys passed in Division three among others.
Mr. Ahebwa however said there was an overall improvement in the general performance of the 2022 P.7 learners compared to the previous year, a milestone he attributed to the efforts of all education stakeholders.
