The Chairperson Association of Secondary School Head Teachers of Uganda-Kasese district, Mr. Joseph Nzukwa has asked Kasese district education officer to investigate ghost schools allegedly receiving study materials from government.
Me.Nzukwa, observed that some schools which were closed after and before Covid-19 for failure to meet the required standards are still receiving instructional materials.
He made the remarks at the opening of a one week training for lower secondary teachers on the new curriculum at St. Theresa girls` secondary school in Nsenyi in Kisinga town council.

The Kasese Municipal Education Officer, Mr. Emmy Kayiri, who urged the already closed schools to give chance to the operating ones to utilize the instructional materials for effective learning of pupils.
