Mr. Elias Byamungu, the Kasese District Chief Administrative Officer, has urged the public to prepare for the World Tourism Day scheduled for 27th September 2024.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio this afternoon at the district headquarters, Byamungu, said the World tourism day will involve pre-activities beginning 23rd September including, Bicycle riding, Rope pulling competitions, Dialogues and football matches among others.
He is optimistic that such an event is an opportunity to further showcase the tourism and business potentials of Kasese.

The Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife, and Antiquities recently concluded a district assessment visit and chose Kasese to host the event, under the theme “Tourism and Peace”. End.
