Priests in the Diocese of Kasese have been urged to be humble servants of God and to lead exemplary lives that reflect humility and kindness among believers in Christ.
During his homily at the first thanksgiving Mass for the newly ordained priest, Rev. Fr. Philip Mikanyu, held yesterday at his ancestral home in Kisinga town Council, Rev. Fr. Joachim Kihembo, the Vice Rector of St. Michael Divine Mercy Shrine, Kabuyiri congratulated Fr. Mikanyu on his priestly vocation, which he described as a gift of grace from God.
He encouraged Fr. Mikanyu to carry out his vocation with humility, love, and compassion.
