Rev. Fr. Anyasio Mbusa, the Coordinator Caritas Kasese has urged Members of small Christian Communities in the Catholic Church to engage in savings and credit groups for improved livelihood at household levels.
According to him, Caritas is planning to empower the public financially through organized Christian communities with running projects.
Speaking to our reporter at our Lady of Assumption Kasese Cathedral church yesterday shortly after celebrating the Parish Golden Jubilee for Small Christian communities in AMECEA region, Fr. Anyasio who commended believers in their respective communities for impressing praying together and supporting church activities, advised them to form saving groups and invest in domestic and poultry projects among others. Fr. Anyasio who doubles as the Assistant Kasese Diocesan Pastoral coordinator encouraged Christians to make use of their Local churches and join small Christian communities than walking long distances to the Cathedral every morning for sacrifice of mass.

He also revealed that Caritas-Kasese has started a SACCO aimed to give loans to organized groups at low interest rates. END
