    Four people belonging to the same family were discovered dead in River Mubuku.

    Four people belonging to the same family have been discovered dead yesterday(25 June 2020) afternoon in River Mubuku Bugoye Sub County in Kasese district, the district Chairperson Mr. Geoffrey Bigogo has said.

    Speaking to Our reporter shortly after retrieving the first Body, Mr. Bigogo identified the deceased as, Enid Masika 35, Genesi Kabugho 60 , Shivan Kahindo 8 years a primary two pupil at Jordan  and  Mishele Musoki 10 years, a  primary three pupil at Katooke.

    Mr. Bigogo who regretted the incident used the same platform asking his electrates to always consider water level before crossing rivers.

    The Chairperson LC one for Rwakingi One B village in Bugoye Sub County, Mr. Paul Mulibanga said the Body of one woman was discovered by some children who had reportedly come to bath from River Mubuku while the remaining bodies were found at Mubuku Bridge.

    A brother to one of the deceased Mr. Kalwana Kibaya who was shcoked told our reporter that before their death they had by passed him.

    The Chairperson LC 3 Bugoye sub county, Mr. Mulyangasu David who regretted the incident, decried about inadquate foot bridges along river Mubuku. Mr.Mulyangasu speaking…..

    By press time the Body of Enid Masika was transported to her home in Katooke village while the search for the three other bodies was underway.
