The High Court in Fort Portal has kicked off a two-day training session aimed at preparing a diverse group of stakeholders from the Rwenzori region for a two-week mediation exercise.
This initiative, to be held at Fort Portal High Court, aims to address numerous civil cases through a mediation approach.
Acting Registrar of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, Halima Kagwa, addressed journalists yesterday, stating that the training is part of a revamped effort to make mediation a cornerstone of the judicial system.
