The Bishop of Fort Portal Catholic Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. Robert Muhirwa has expressed concern over the increasing cases of homosexuality among the youth and school-going children.
The Bishop who was concerned about the increasing cases of the homosexuality among school-going children especially those in boarding Schools, called for more consciousness against people spreading this vice by blackmailing young people with money and other luxurious gifts to recruit them.
Bishop Muhirwa asked parents and school administrators to take the matter seriously and put measures to curb the spread of this immoral behavior among children.
He also advised parents to teach their children morals and also to be contented with what their parents give them so that they are not lured into acts of Immorality that taint their bodies which are temples of the Lord. Bishop Muhirwa speaking……….
The Bishop who was leading an annual Holy Eucharist Mass at Katosa Holy martyrs’ Villa in Kyenjojo district yesterday, said it has become common in the current times for fathers to leave the responsibilities of raising children to overwhelmed mothers, a trend he said was tasking and should be reversed.
