Amuriat who did not explain what change his political aspirant would cause to Busongora South constituency that has kept under developed with the NRM leaders in parliament for long, asked the Kasese people to vote for FDC`s Alozious Kighema whom he said would easily lobby for health centers and tarmac roads since he had closely associated with the challenges. The Kasese district FDC party chairperson, Mr. Saulo Maate pledged to push Mt. Kighema to look into the challenges of the locals of the lake region should the aspirant be given the mandate to represent Busongora South constituents in Parliament.
Hon. Robert Centenary, the former Kasese Municipal MP told the locals that he wrote a letter to the Ministry of Lands against some locals and national leaders who had had intentions to own the community piece of land that had previously been under the lease of TUFMAC.
