    FDC’s President sympathizes with residents of lake regions in Kasese with the poorest roads

    Eng. Patrick Oboi Amuriate, the Forum for Democratic Change President sympathizes with the local community of the lake regions in Kasese district who have reportedly voted for the ruling government for more than two decades but with the poorest roads.

    Eng. Amuriat who did not explain what change his political aspirant would cause to Busongora South constituency that has kept under developed with the NRM leaders in parliament for long, asked the Kasese people to vote for FDC`s Alozious Kighema whom he said would easily lobby for health centers and tarmac roads since he had closely associated with the challenges.     The Kasese district FDC party chairperson, Mr. Saulo Maate pledged to push Mt. Kighema to look into the challenges of the locals of the lake region should the aspirant be given the mandate to represent Busongora South constituents in Parliament.

    Hon. Robert Centenary, the former Kasese Municipal MP told the locals that he wrote a letter to the Ministry of Lands against some locals and national leaders who had had intentions to own the community piece of land that had previously been under the lease of TUFMAC.

    Mr. Sadick Amin, the son to Uganda’s former president said the Busongora South people should not be diverted politically over the recently established Parish Model Development Strategy because the funding is from their taxes.

    Hon. Aloysius Kighema Alosius pledged to his rallies throughout Kikorongo, Kisondo and Karongwe that funding of credit saving groups to improve the economic standards of people is top on his agenda is send to Parliament. END
