    FDC’s National office hands over 20M shillings to the district leadership.

    Forum for Democratic Party`s National office in collaboration with the reported People`s Government has handed over twenty million shillings and three hundred blankets among other relief items to the district leadership with a call on the locals community to remain united and focused amidst the prevailing challenges forced by nature.

    Heading over the relief at the Kasese district head quarters in Rukoki, the FDC party`s delegation head who is also a members of Parliament for Rukingiri municipality, Hon. Roland Kazinda did not only commend Hon. Winfred Bihande Kiiza for her developmental and unifying efforts but also sympathized with the Kasese people over last month`s landslide and floods his party he calls strong proposes a lasting solution for.     The Kasese District chairperson, Mr. Geoffrey Bigogo who listed money, blackest and Posho as some of the donations from the FDC party to the flood and landslides victims he said will receive them soon. Mr. Bigogo speaking…..

    Earlier, the Kasese district FDC party boss, Mr. Saulo Maate who called for more support appreciated the donation he said will reach the disaster victims tomorrow. Mr. Saulo speaking…..

    The Kasese district Woman MP, Hon. Winfred Bihande Kiiza and Bukonzo East`s Legislator, Hon. Herald Tony Muhindo said that the donation was a joint effort of the Kasese district leadership and the MPs from Kasese to support the disaster victims who were almost losing hope about the future after the calamity.

    The MPs also asked the affected people to rethink about the future now that the skies are dry but also being more conscious about the deadly COVID-19.

    In attendance at the relief item handover were, Hon. Betty Muzahura and Hon. Fred Tumusime from Rukungiri district, Hon. William Nzoghu and Hon. Godfrey Katusabe Atkins among others. END
