Mr. Ronald Kabuku is the Kasese district Forum for Democratic Change chairman elect, replacing Mr. Saulo Matte.
Mr. Saulo who had been in office for ten years could not contest for the same seat over their party constitutional barriers that do not allow any office bearer to keep the same office for not more than two terms.
In his declaration, Mr. Ronald Bwambale, the Kasese district FDC electoral commission chairman announced Mr. Kabuku as the party chairman elect after obtaining 350 votes against Mr. Saudi Kisuki who garnered 62 and 49 for Mr. Gad Mbayahi Bakwanamaha who came in the third position. In his maiden speech, Mr. Kabuku who called for reconciliation and forgiveness among FDC in case of any mishap during the voting process, asked party members to fill the gaps that would hinder the progress of the once leading opposition party in the parliament of Uganda. Mr. Kabuku speaking……
Mr Kabuku is deputized by Ms Rita Biira who passed un opposed as Mr. Alfred Ikwera comes on board as the General secretary among others. Hon.Harold Tonny Muhindo, the MP for Bukonzo County East, Hon. William Nzoghu, the former MP for Busongora County North and Hon. Robert Centenary, the former legislator for Kasese Municipality were some of the party big wings who witnessed the FDC party district executive elections. END
