The Forum for Democratic Change flag bearer in the Busongora South constituency By-elections in Kasese district, Mr. Aloysius Kighema Baguma has been released on police bond, Kasese Guide Radio can authentically report.
Mr. Kighema was arrested at Katunguru primary school polling station in Lake Katwe Sub County in Kasese district yesterday after he reportedly kicked a ballot box to express disappointment of his disregarded request by the electoral officialsto allow his polling agents near the Presiding officer to closely monitor the poll result entries.
The Rwenzori East Regional Police Spokesperson, ASP Nelson Tumushime confirmed Mr. Kighema`s release, adding that the suspect among others preferred charges, abstracted polling officials` work, including kicking of the ballot Box, all that will be submitted and guided about legally by the Directorate of Public Prosecution.ASP Tumushimespeaking1………
He also said the commotion reportedly by the opposition before a Minister in Karusandara Sub County was managed without any unnecessary force, before calling for calm among political agents and aspirants.

ASP Tumushime later apologized and pledged thorough investigations over the incident where a local Journalist from South Rwenzori Messiah Radio, Mr. Alex Baluku was reportedly manhandled by security operatives as he executed his duty during the arrest of Mr. Kighema, the FDC Candidate in the just concluded Busongora County South Parliamentary by-elections.
