Police in Hima Division in Rwenzori East Region have arrested a 48-year-old man on allegations of beating his biological son to death.
The Police spokesperson for the Region, SP Nelson Tumushime, confirmed that Mr. Erieza Bagheni, a local resident of Kendahi village in Kitswamba subcounty in Kasese district, was in the police coolers to help the forces into the ongoing investigations over the suspicious death of Kule Kyahwere, a thirteen year old boy.
Mr. Eryeza Bwambale Kithulha, the Kandahi village local council one chairman said he was informed by the GISO about the suspect who is said to have beaten the deceased reportedly returning late from the cassava flour milling machine before the deceased’s demise at Rukoki general Hospital. At the Kasese Municipal mortuary, Ms Ketty Bagheni, an aunt to the deceased said the late Kule should have died under severe pain because blood was oozing from his nose and ears. May the soul of the deceased rest in peace. END
