Apiculture is one of the ventures that the local farmers need to invest into for timely returns.
Dr. Ssius Aruho who was addressing farmers, some opinion and district leaders, as well as Agricultural extension workers at Verina gardens, said the community needed to be mobilized to invest in apiculture and hot culture, the type of farming he said has ready market.
Dr. Eruho, a community project facilitator from the Ministry of water and environment asked farmers to make good use of the expanded Mubuku irrigation scheme and consult about farming that does not stress but with highly demanded products. Dr. Ssius Aruho speaking……
