By Kyamanduma Patrick,
There was drama as residents of Kilembe quarters in Kasese municipality disagreed with the family of late Saadi Mawanda over a Music system at the Burial which is against Islamic faith.
The Chairperson LC One for Kilembe quarter’s cell in Kasese Municipality Mr. Benerd Kazoora confirmed the information saying the scuffle started when family members of late Saadi Mawanda refused a music system hired by friends to the deceased.
Mr. Kazoora said whereas the family members of the deceased were Muslims and therefore their faith doesn’t allow music during funeral, this did not go right in the ears of the late Mawanda’s friends.

Although some friends had vowed to take back their burial contributions however, Mr. Abbasi Bogere a relative to the deceased said it was against their Muslim faith to play music at a burial ceremony.

The team leader for the friends and neighbors who hired the Music system Mr. Jimmy Bwambale told Our Reporter that they wanted to use the Radio at night to mobilize funds for the burial but it came at their dismay to hear their efforts turned down.
Police later swung in action to cool the dust although nobody was held culpable as all had the intentions to burry safely. END.
