Police in Kasese have started investigations into which a Fuso truck registration number UBE 389 N, reportedly lost control and over turned near Silver Springs bar and restaurant, along the Kasese-Fort-portal high way in Kasese Municipality.
Police spokesperson for Rwenzori East Region, SP Nelson Tumushime confirmed the incident, adding that the truck had been towed to their Kasese Division Police headquarters and the driver arrested to help the forces in the ongoing investigations.
Mr. Sulait Bwambale, an eye witness to the early morning accident yesterday, suspects the driver of the truck reportedly transporting inputs for making soap, could have dozed off. Mr. Sulaiti speaking……
He however says the driver could have survived because he was pootling. END
