The Chairperson for Kayanja fishing community in Nyakiyumbu Sub-County Kasese district, Mr. Yonah Bwambale has refuted public speculation regarding the exportation of Fish to the Eastern democratic republic of Congo by some traders.
Speaking to Kasese guide Radio on phone this afternoon, Mr. Yonah who said the Customs Boarder point has been temporarily closed following the presidential directive on COVID-19, described the information as baseless.
Mr. Yonah used the same opportunity reporting that fish traders from Nyakiyumbu, Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council, Karambi, Bwera and Kitholhu are allegedly walking on foot to and from the landing site daily to do business. Mr. Yonah Speaking;…….
