There was Drama like scenario in Kasese central market this afternoon when an expectant mother locked herself inside one of the stalls in fear of her life after angry vendors wanted to pounce on her, over allegations of theft.
No official comment yet from Police, but Mr. Wilson B.Wahimba, the chairperson Kasese Central market vendors association confirmed the information and identified the suspect as Ms.Dorika Muhindo, a vendor in the same market.
Mr.Wahimba said Ms.Dorika who was rescued by Police, is alleged to have stolen four hundred fifty five thousand shillings from a mobile agent line of Ms.Agnes Ithungu Kabaka.
