There was excitement among the local Residents of Kiburara-Rwembya villages in Kisinga sub county, Kasese district after the President Uganda Forum based in USA, Mrs. Jane Hollah pledged to extend the solar pumped water to their areas.
Addressing the local residents and leaders at her monitoring tour of the three water taps that currently serves Kiburara trading center yesterday(10th.July.2022), Mrs. Hollah hailed the local population for the warm welcome, pleading that the water project would not only serve the whole community soon but also target schools and other affected faith based institutions in the area. The project initiator who is also the Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale commended the delegation led by Mrs. Jane Hollah for the water project which he asked the beneficiaries in the area to own and save for her maintenance if it was to last to serve her purpose. The Rector St. Johns minor Seminary Rev Fr. Kojo Francis who asked the community to save for the repairs and maintain cleanliness at the taps, said as a benefiting institution, they had offered land for machinery storage, and appointed Rev Fr. Francis Mwangi to work with local leaders in maintaining the project. Rev Fr. Kojo speaking………..
