Consumption of Alcohol and Drug abuse in Kasese District is worrying leaders who say it has reduced labor force and increased incest.

According to the former premier of Obusinga-Bwa Rwenzururu, Rt.Hon. Gad Bakwanamaha Mbayahi, the youth who should be working have resorted to drinking which has affected their health and ability to work, luring them into incest, defilement and rape.

A survey done by leaders recently indicated that Kasese Municipal and the district at large, ranked top in alcohol consumption and drug abuse.

Rt. Hon. Mbayahi one on incest……

He calls for collaborated effort among police and parents in case management of teenage pregnancies and incest among others.

    Rt.Hon. Mbayahi two speaking….

Mbayahi, asked politicians, cultural and religious leaders to embark on educating the youth on the dangers of drinking so that some can reform. END.
