The Minister of Security Gen. Elly Tumwine has said enforcing the compulsory wearing of masks is going to be the new war front for security forces.

Gen. Tumwine who was speaking at the Uganda Media Centre in Kampala yesterday said that as Uganda with the borders through which new infections were coming to the country, security won’t look on when the citizens were flouting other measures that can stop communal spread of the highly contagious virus. Gen. Tumwine speaking…….

Before starting his address, Brig. Richard Karemire, the spokesperson of the Uganda People’s Defense Forces said they will not allow anybody to jeopardize the safety of Ugandans by flouting presidential guidelines.

He also described as a total risk for anybody who attacks security deployed to enforce security orders but rather jointly work with them for the safety of the country. END
