Yet to be quantified crops have reportedly been destroyed by elephants near Uganda Martyrs Catholic Church in Kasese Municipality in Kasese district with a call on government for intensify plans to complete the construction works of an electrified wire around Queen Elizabeth National park.
No comment yet from Uganda Wildlife Authority leadership but the local council one chairperson for Nyamwamba East, Mr. Moses Kathaba confirmed that the beasts suspected to have invaded the area ate all kinds of food crops all over the night.
