The Rwenzururu King, His Majesty Charles Wisley Mumbere Iremangoma has urged leaders to embrace unity for prosperity and social economic development in their communities.
He says it’s the leader’s duty to work for unity and harmony among their supporters, which according to him will lead to development.
Omusinga made the remarks yesterday shortly after handover of the outgoing Deputy Prime Minister in charge of Finance in OBR Hon.Edwin Kugonza to his incoming, Hon.Baritazale Kule Benson, held at the Royal Palace in Kasese Municipality.
Omusinga, who allowed Hon.Edwin Kugonza to join politics after serving the Kingdom for the last seven years, said the primary responsibility of leaders is to unite people around common goals and legitimate interests. Omusinga one speaking….
He challenged the leaders in different capacities to emphasize unity and cooperation with all people of Uganda regardless of religion, tribe or political affiliation.
Her Royal Highness, Agnes Ithungu Asimawe commended Hon.Edwin Kugonza for mediating Government with Obusinga-Bwa Rwenzururu that saw the King and his royal guards set free by Government.
